The 15th annual Armstrong Bradfield Preschool Association Homes for the Holidays Home Tour will feature four homes in Highland Park, Texas + one bonus home.

The Children's Medical Center Holiday Parade kicks off the holiday season with a parade of floats, bands, music and more. December 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. The parade route starts on Commerce and ends up at City Hall Plaza. Miss America, Miss Texas and Texas Ranger Derek Holland will be riding in this year’s parade.
Formerly known as the White Rock Marathon, the Dallas Marathon is set for Sunday, December 8, 2013 in Fair Park in Dallas. Cross the new Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, run through the Dallas Arts District and more. Don't be left behind. The events the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Lace up your running shoes and enjoy the Full Marathon, half marathon and 5-Person Relay.
It's a traditional German holiday market featuring live holiday music, authentic foods and beverages, unique shopping in an Old World atmosphere. November 29-December 22. Admission and parking are free. Road to Six Flags, next to the Rangers Ball Park in Arlington.
What: The 2013 Dallas Jingle Bell Run benefiting the Trinity Strand Trail and the Mavericks Foundation is set for Wednesday, December 23 at the Hilton Anatole. This is a family friendly and dog friendly festive event. There is a 1 mile fun run at 6:30 p.m. For those who want to work off some of those holiday treats, the 5K race starts at 7 p.m. Party at the finish line with food, drinks and entertainment.
What: Lovers of choo-choo trains can enjoy 2,500 feet of train track that winds through miniature landmarks like Reunion Tower, the Statue of Liberty and Mount Rushmore. More than forty locomotives pull train cars around the track to the delight of kids and adults.
