In 1997, Thomas Ginn was neighbors with Bill Moody IV in League City, TX. Mr. Moody joked and stated Thomas' Home could be seen from Space. Thomas laughed and suggested to his neighbor that Moody Gardens needed to put up a larger light display (that idea is going strong Today keeping the resort busy during winter months www.moodygardens.com/festivaloflights). Thomas' other neighbor (Jack, Sr the owner of Jacks Carpet) joked and stated he was concerned an airplane might land since Thomas' Home had more lights than a runway! Thomas just laughed and added more!
In 2006, Thomas Ginn arrived at his home 1 night and he asked his girlfriend along with his staff why a stranger was under his Palm Tree that had Clear & Green mini-lights but no one knew why. Thomas walked out and greeted the stranger... Thomas started talking to the stranger and he discovered that she worked for a homeowner down the street and said that Thomas' lights reminded her of her time with her son (prior to him passing away)... Thomas told her to stay as long as she needed and he placed a chair under the Palm Tree just for her to use as much as she wanted. Thomas even provided her with a small mini-fridge that he supplied with soda and water... This Palm Tree is what you see in the top upper left corner of this website... Thomas is touched by all the stories he hears about and enjoys donating (labor and products) when possible to brighten the season for others...
Thomas' previous home! Yes, you can tell he enjoys Christmas Lights!
